The town of Grižane is located in Vinodol, 4 km northeast of the town of Crikvenica. It is located under the ruins of the historic Frankopan town of Griž, from which it got its name.

In addition to the Frankopan castle, you can also visit other sights such as: St. Martin’s Church, Gradina, Malik’s cave and the Klović house dedicated to Juli Klović, one of the most famous Croatian painters and miniaturists often called “Michelangelo miniatures”.

The settlement is surrounded by pure, untouched nature, it is extremely peaceful and quiet, favorable for a pleasant vacation, and guests are only awakened by the chirping of birds. Stone houses built in coastal historical style give it an additional fairy-tale touch, of some long-ago good times.
